The young forward, who plays for Real Madrid's youth academy, will be part of Spain’s squad for the second round of qualification for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
Despite his Brazilian roots, Enzo Alves was born in Madrid on September 16, 2009, and has committed to representing Spain at the international level.
Although Brazil has shown interest in him multiple times, the promising striker has chosen to follow his own path, opting to wear the Spanish colors instead of his father's home country.
Enzo joined Real Madrid’s youth system in the 2017-18 season at the Benjamin level and has steadily risen through the ranks. Unlike his father Marcelo, who was one of the world's best left-backs, Enzo plays as a forward and has already gained attention for his goal-scoring ability and technical skills.
His performances for Real Madrid’s youth teams have now earned him a call-up to Spain's U-17 squad, where he will compete alongside some of the country’s most promising young talents.
