Asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted a challenging total of 149/7 in 20 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur led the charge with a brilliant 66 off 44 balls, showcasing her attacking prowess with a series of boundaries.

Chasing 150, Delhi Capitals never truly gained momentum. Early breakthroughs by Nat Sciver-Brunt and Shabnim Ismail put them on the back foot, with Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma dismissed cheaply. While Jemimah Rodrigues (30) and Marizanne Kapp (40) fought back, their efforts were not enough.

Timely wickets from Mumbai's bowlers, including Sciver-Brunt and Ismail,ijogo slots kept the pressure mounting, and despite a late surge from Kapp and Niki Prasad, Delhi fell short, finishing at 141/9 and losing the final by 8 runs.
